Plague affecting many touristy parts of the world by selfish people.
Ah the “love-locks”, symbolising a couples eternal love…god, I’d love to be the lucky sod who gets to take bolt cutters to them.
Yes, but fortunately not anymore.
Looks fucking awful.
It’s an absolute blight in Paris. All the keys thrown into the water rust and pollute the river. Parts of the bridge railings get wrecked from the weight of the locks. The town has to send people to cut off the locks every few months. Complete selfishness.
Copied off a bridge in Paris that is totally covered in locks like that. The weight it adds to the bridge is savage. Was interesting seeing and reading about it.
The footbridge near the Jeanie Johston has some.
My hobby is to always count how many re-appear. So far, only one towards the southside end.
Bunch of miserable bastards in here
Yes. Scumbags.
Talk to joe.
Saw it Italy too when I was a kid, I think Florence?
Was walking over the railway bridge in Cologne earlier in the year and the entire thing was covered a few layers deep. Feels like a bridge collapse will happen at some point or another (don’t mean that bridge specifically). It does seem that the trend is slowing down though.
The bridge in kilkenny has these on it, looks fucking awful, rusty padlocks along it. Needs a bolt cutters taken to them
