Imagine trying to use a Breitbart article in court. Bruh.
>When Kise disclosed the origin of the claims on the pro-Trump website, audible groans resounded in the courtroom.
That’s pretty much anyone’s reaction to Breitbart…
I’m confused. Is the clerk on trial? I’m a bit tired of hearing about a person with no bearing in the case.
Any other person would be sitting in jail right now. What the fuck!?
JFC. They’re still giving Trump special treatment. Imagine anyone else getting that much leeway going after a judge’s clerk.
Trump hires morons for lawyers just like himself.
This is what you get when you stiff every qualified attorney who’s ever worked for you. 🤣
And yet, the lawyer is only shamed, not sanctioned for being both corrupt and incompetent.
> Engoron replied that he had an “absolute unfettered right to get advice” from his clerk, adding that there “may be a bit of misogyny” in the repeated slights at Greenfield.**Kise countered that he couldn’t be a misogynist because he’s married and had a daughter.**
I have many questions about the quality of this lawyer.
Time to report Kise to the bar.
This tactic has worked for Trump before. Making up unfounded claims, have them posted on pro trump social media or published in pro trump media, and then use those posts or articles as proof that his claim was right.
The entire defense is predicated on getting a mistrial and/or setting up appeals claims based on bias against them. They are essentially children using the “I’m not touching you” tactic in the hope of triggering a response. Pathetic.
I can’t wait until she passes him a note while Trump is in the stand.
The funniest part is that Breitbart’s source most of the time is Trump himself and then they extrapolate what Trump might actually wanted to say.
And then Trump use that as a source to defend himself 😂
Can’t wait to see Engeron absolutely lose his mind and throw the book at this bunch of clowns.
Props to him, he’s held his cool way longer than I would have, and given them plenty of rope and leeway, again way more than I would. So when he finally reaches his tolerance and we move into the ‘-FO’ phase, it’s gonna be epic.
Is it just me, or could those lawyers actually be charged with slander or something like that?
Mind you, I’m not a lawyer so I’m hoping that someone will explain to me how wrong I am. It after all is a learning opportunity.
How does Contempt of Court work again? Asking for a friend.
Is everyone in maga-land getting their marching orders from Roger Stone? This is the type of shit he would think of doing. Someone is orchestrating all of this.
>Specifically, the article is sourced entirely to an X/Twitter user from Wisconsin whose account bio reads, “Applying the 69th Amendment to the Internet!” according to The Messenger.
Good lord, this is a trial lawyer for one of the biggest defendants of the last one hundred. And according to LegalEagle, one of the best on his team of lawyers.
Absolute disgrace the show that our country is putting on for the rest of the world here. How far this country has fallen.
“Your honor; according to our source, Batboy from World Weekly News….”
Might as well have cited some random reddit thread. It would probably have been more credible
I keep hearing republicans saying two tiered justice system. Well they are right. Because there is no way in hell a normal citizen would be allowed to pull the stunts Trump has. How fast would I be in a jail cell if i attacked the judge, staffers, DA’s, jurors and on and on.
Imagine starting your argument “so as written on infowars and presented by alex jones….”
really interesting legal strategy to piss off the judge *who gets to decide your client’s fate*
Why does the political leaning of a clerk matter, she is not making decisions. Every clerk in every court room across the country has political leanings.
“Kise had complained that Greenfield was passing notes to Engoron, suggesting that she was co-judging the trial. But an angry Engoron replied that he had an “absolute unfettered right to get advice” from his clerk, adding that there “may be a bit of misogyny” in the repeated slights at Greenfield. Kise countered that he couldn’t be a misogynist because he’s married and had a daughter.”
Losing my shit

LOL.
Embarrassing theatrics.
I think it’s a bit lost on people who aren’t familiar with civil litigation, but you can’t really be losing a trial of this size harder than this. Sanctions, summary judgment and all.
