I don’t know if there is a guy in the art world with such a disturbing/interesting life as Caravaggio. Malta’s work is due to him fleeing Rome as he was sentenced to prison due to murder ( he tried to castrate the guy? but accidentally killed him). He deserves a Hollywood movie and from this map, the filming location should be in Albania.
I mean, if he’s Italian it makes sense why he has a lot of art in Albania.
Isn’t there also one in Kassel in Central Germany? David with the head of Goliath.

We were in Madrid just two weeks ago. Three days, three museums (Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen-Bornemisza).
Yeah, I definitely sought out *David and Goliath* and *Salome* while visiting Prado.
I just want to point out that the one in Palermo, Sicily, was actually stolen in the 60s and until today it’s unfortunately never been found..
