  1. I’m not surprised about these numbers. Especially the Kurds. My dad had a lot of Kurdish workers in the mid 2000s. They were great people, and according to my dad “The best nationality he’s ever worked with” [sic]. Working in Europe allowed them to make money they’d never see in their lives back in their home countries, and nearly all of them were simply saving up and eventually returned and made lives for themselves, helped their families, opened businesses.

Every single one of them, or at least the ones that we’ve managed to reconnect with over the years, have been displaced by war in Syria or by persecution in Turkey. Some came back to Europe with their families to settle permanently, others came alone as all their immediate families were dead. Some are unaccounted for, and we haven’t been able to find them. These people just can’t catch a break, and either through war or persecution they can’t make a decent life for themselves even if they try, unless they leave, and they deal with a lot of shit in Europe as immigrants but at least they don’t have to worry about being killed.

  2. One out of four AKP voters be like:

    >*I wanna move to a different country, this is a shithole and it’s only getting worse and worse. What? Oh yes I’ll gladly vote for Erdogan again, he’s the best thing that could happen to our nation.*

  3. Berlin turks voting for Erdogan out here living the dream

But lets be honest how hard do you need to fuck up that even 1/5th of nationalists want to leave the country?

  4. Notice the big decrease compared to January 2022(52 to 39.1). Finally opposition’s fear tactics are fading away. They have created so much pessimism.

  5. Almost 1/5 of “nationalists” that want to live abroad is a bit strange, don’t you think?
