  7. This is the same Senator who retired early last year after it came out that he had been communicating via a prison messaging sms system with a guy who had just been arrested on multiple child porn charges. The senator and the inmate exchanged 65 messages over a 2 hour span

    The senator claimed the guy was just a handyman who had done work on his house then admitted the guy had been over to his house for drinks on a number of occasions, saying “We never went out to dinner at restaurants, but I don’t want to say much more.”

    While in the senate, which is a part time position in North Dakota, he spent over $100,000 in state funds on overseas trips and it looks like some of these taxpayer funded trips are the ones he is being accused of using for his personal child sex tourism

    Oh and in his day job he was a school counsellor
