Hello,

I was watching this video, and just got so annoyed by the fact that these large corporations still make money while using childlabor in the caco harvesting.

I know it’s a well known fact that this is happening, however we as consumers tend to forget these things rather quick when we are in the supermarket and looking at all the delicious chocolate.

Beside boycotting those big chocolate companies, and buy more Tony Chocolonely (mentioned in the video as well). Isn’t there a way to make these companies take responsibility?

Why can’t they be taken to court for either:
1. False advertising on the websites regarding childlabor and or labor conditions and pay. While this is clearly not under cobtoll.

2. As this has been going on for over 20 years, while they make a lot of money it’s clear they don’t want to solve this. However these are public owned companies, could the not be held responsible for the child labor and under payment of the workers?

Any ideas?
