I’m a little sick of the articles feeling the need to add more things to the treason as if it’s necessary to justify the sentence.
Like, the bank robber who drove the car vs. Bank robber who broke into the vault shouldn’t get different sentences. These people should be getting big time for actively participating in an insurrection and how they participated is not really of consequence.
American tourists sound like assholes.
And Trump keeps saying that not only will he pardon them, but he will give them key positions within his government.

“Jan. 6 rioter accused of ripping officer’s gas mask” is the headline but the article states the ~~accused~~ **convicted** struck the officer in the face with a baton.
**Advice to The Hill:** Do your fucking job properly. Your partisanship and agenda are showing and it is not a good look.
