  1. Great! They should receive statehood and all of the rights that come with that. Palestinians would be much more effective at pushing out Hamas if they had the support of Israel to do so.

  2. Hamas spokesperson: “The people of Israel are the enemy”.

  3. He should tell that to his president then, who think that they are all guilty.

  4. Any of them that weren’t the enemy a month or so ago probably are now after you indiscriminately bombed them.

Probably not the best approach to win friends.

  5. Then maybe stop bombing them?

This might be a suprise to the IDF but bombs are not point weapons.

  6. yeah it’s those Hamas sickos specifically who are the enemy. they’ll use Palestinians as human shields and blame Israel for killing them to get to their fighters.

  7. OP seems to post almost exclusively about the war, including in the Destiny subteddit. Seems like a bot account to me.

  8. Hamas launched this war without the consent of the people of Gaza. Hamas has tunnels and shelters to hide — under the Gazan civilians. I understand the people who call for ceasefire out of humanitarian concern. I am also saddened to see the pictures we see from Gaza. But Hamas can’t be left to do this again and again as they have stated they would. They start a war with Israel, and then hide when Israel fights back and tries to get them, leaving the civilians above them exposed. Again, and again, and again. This can’t go on. They are bringing on their own people catastrophes time and again.

  9. When will we get it? Every war is a projection of the human response to trauma. Just as an abused kid grows up to abuse others, Israel’s people have seen there are no limits (holocaust) and are now living in fear. So now they do to others what was done to them. Palestinians grow up traumatized by Israel will now grow up fulfilling this evil desire to do the same. It’s a cycle that only love will stop. It sounds hippie as fuck but it’s true. We all need to stop and love one another.

  10. Sure, but accepting 50-90% collateral victims for thousands of strikes is kind of telling a different story about what you consider the people of Gaza to be. Not enemy but not exactly human either.

Why does this feel like it’s a worse admission to make than “they’re all enemies”.
