It’s a jet engine. That is all.
Let me guess… Cameras…. Everywhere?
It’s funny. This is not exactly revolution drone technology? You would think China is miles ahead in their development.
Useless in a few years when every major Power has laser defences against drones that cost a few cents a shot to fire
Welp, I guess SHORAD’s are back on the development menu. Gepard, Skyranger, Marksman and all those other gun turret SPAA might be up for a resurgence.
Has a balloon for extra range?
Aren’t the electronics just commercial, off-the-shelf RF chips? I would imagine the systems are not design to resist electronic warfare counter measures. Your average wedding photographer doesn’t need that. This would seem to be an important area fir development. An effective jamming technique could make this all go away as fast as it came on the scene.
The real question is: who will build the most cost effective drone anti air?
The guy who wins the defense race, will win a future war.
Drones will always be to cheap to target with for example patriots.
Rice Burners from above.
