Some of these are surprising esthetically pleasing, like picture 4. You can really tell if people make their prosthetics their own.
They are all beautiful pictures. All of them are survivors who show us grace and strength and determination.
My heart hurts on the losses they endured, the pain. I am thrilled they survived and hope they all thrive. They will all have a place in my heart. And all those who we don’t see.
I really hope that this helps to shed a spotlight on all the other people with disabilities in Ukraine as well. Of course, the main message with this series of photos is the war. I’d just love to see even more inclusion in Ukraine in the future.
