Indeed, Hamas should really try not to genocide it’s own populations !
I disagree… The Palestinians have made their bed and are now lying in it. Hamas is a genocidal terror group with little to no regard for human life, and use the civilians in Gaza as human shields, hoping Israel will strike them so as to use those dead civilians as propaganda. They practice an extreme version of Sharia law, brutally suppress free speech of Gazan civilians, violently collect “taxes” from all businesses and civilians, and steal all human aid and food for its own use and leave the civilians to fend for themselves. If the Gazan civilians want peace, they need to eradicate Hamas themselves and show Israel they are no longer a threat by acknowledging Israel’s right to exist and stop letting the Arab world exploit them as violent proxies against Israel.
I think the Guardian presented the bloody attack of Hamas on October 6 against unsuspecting Israeli civilians in such detail and now presents the suffering of the other side, whom Israel told in time to leave because it wants to retaliate against Hamas. What is preventing Palestinian civilians from leaving? Why do Palestinian civilians receive only 10% of the massive humanitarian aid? The newspaper should also seek answers to these questions!
