We received one of these payments as Child Disability Benefit recipients.
My understanding was that the Cost of Living payment was only ever designed as a temporary measure and not as a permanent benefit. I don’t understand how it can be considered cruel to let it lapse.
They need to just got over themselves and stop being so poor. Maybe try wearing a jumper and gloves if it’s too cold.
