  1. Good, took my lad to swimming the other week and some dickheads taking pictures in the changing rooms. There’s kids getting changed for their swimming lesson and he’s posting himself flexing to his Instagram.

  2. Good. The various video subreddits are full of videos of women trying to get attention by claiming men are staring at them or feigning anger at people getting in their shot.

  3. Just be reasonable, I sometimes film a set so I can check form but I make sure no one else is in the frame. That is the only reasonable use of a camera in the gym.

Edit: why the downvotes? Do people have a problem with good form?

  4. Good, I’m so sick of seeing these narcists and wanting to avoid their camera.

  5. I was going to ask why anyone would film themselves at the gym, but actually I could extend the question without “at the gym”.

  6. Good. Ban anyone using a camera in a gym. 99% of people don’t do it anyway and of the 1% that do, most will cave and just follow the rules rather than cause a scene. Everyone else can just fuck off.

  7. Good. They’re places to work out, not Instagram filming studios.

  8. Oh no, how awful. Social media twats can’t get arsey that you are in their shot or not being quiet or reacting to their crap. Truly, this is a big loss to society.

    /s?

  9. Good. I’ve been a regular gym-goer for about 8 years now and I don’t really have a problem with people filming one of their sets to check their form. I’ve done it. It’s useful. But filming your whole workout for your TikTok? Get outta here

  10. Good, the amount of times I’ve been on a treadmill and realised I’m in the background of someone’s instagram live. My own fault for joining a GYMBOX, didn’t realise so many influencers used it.

  11. Good. Nearly got into a proper scrap with some tit a few years ago who was trying to hog 3 machines because of some super set bollocks and needing to film it. Just fuck off

  12. Now all they need to do is enforce all their other rules. Like people not putting weights back or wiping down equipment. Or bringing in their friends who don’t pay and just take up space.

Everyone who goes to a gmy will have a hundred stories like this.

  13. That’s great and all, but people are still going to film themselves in the gym and nobody is going to enforce it

So yeah it’s good in theory but in reality nothing will change

  14. It’s not a public place per se as they’re usually privately owned. CCTV is more than adequate.

  15. Good. It’s absolutely ridiculous that people feel the need to film themselves. And all the inevitable “it’s to check form” can actually piss off. No it isn’t. It’s to be vain and selfish.

  16. Good to see my country make one good decision. Need to see more good decisions.

  17. Nothing more cringe than someone filming their entire workout then getting annoyed when people walk past.
