  1. She had a good 2 year run as a corvette, so good that she leveled up to submarine.

  2. If that’s the ship (hard to really see whats going on for me, just looks like some fire in the distance). I’m sure the Russians are hilariously displeased.

Launched 2021. Brand new ship, generation is still in production.

  3. Now it’s a boat.

Peskov: “Our submarine fleet grows more powerful every day.”

  4. I’m struggling to keep my spreadsheet up to date with all these developments.

This is a good problem to have.

  5. As much as I would like to believe Ruzzia lost another ship this video is not the conclusive proof of a ship being lost, or much other than that something is burning. I will hope for more news that substantiates this claim.

**EDIT:** The image is Zaliv Shipyard, Kerch (Керчь), Crimea, Ukraine, occupied by Russia, fire near 45.26384, 36.42185

  6. **Askold** and Dir (Haskuldr or Hǫskuldr and Dyr or Djur in Old Norse; died in 882), mentioned in both the Primary Chronicle[1] the Novgorod First Chronicle[2] and the Nikon Chronicle,[3] were the earliest known purportedly Norse rulers of Kyiv.

    >Origin
There is no consensus among historians about Askold’s origins.
The Polish chronicler of the 15th century, Jan Długosz, and a number of historians who rely on his information, believed that Askold came from a princely dynasty founded by Prince Cyril. These statements formed the basis of critics of the Norman theory of the origin of Rus. Thus, Mykhailo Hrushevsky also believed that Askold could be a descendant of the dynasty of Prince Kyi, the successor of Bravlyn.
***The Swedish historian of the seventeenth century. Olof von Dahlin identified Askold with Asleik (Old Norse. Asleik Björnson (Diar)), the son of the Swedish king Björn the Ironborn, grandson of the legendary Viking Ragnar Lothbrok].*** – this version is really cool tho.

    >The Tale of Bygone Years tells us that Askold and Dir were boyars of Rurik before he reigned in Kyiv.
*And he had two men, Askold and Dir, not of his tribe, but boyars. And they asked [Rurik to go] to Cesarograd with their family, and both of them moved along the Dnipro. As they passed by, they saw a town on the mountain and asked, saying, “Whose town is this?” And they [the locals] said: “There were three brothers, Kiy, Shchek [and] Horiv, who built this city and died.”[9] And we are sitting in their city and paying tribute to the Khazars.” So Askold and Dir stayed in this city together, and gathered many Varangians, and began to possess the Polyansk land. And Rurik reigned in Novgorod.”*

As usual it’s ok for russia to steal historical Ukrainian persons and to tell everybody that’s their own history.

  7. As a scuba diver I approve the creation of new artificial reefs!

  8. I I want to know how they git it up the stairs and threw it out the window? Suiciding another boat is not a good look.
