I’m prepared to display my shocked Pikachu face when this judge is personally threatened for removing the means by which these jurors can be personally threatened.
I sure as hell hope so. I wouldn’t serve on that jury unless they guaranteed that.
I would have thought a jury was granted anonymity from the get-go.
This might help to prevent bribery also. Sure they can talk about safety and it is a real concern but tracking them down to pay them off is also a possibility
I think they have to truss Trump up during his trial like L did with Misa Amane in Death Note.
Won’t be long before their identities are “leaked” (meaning Trumps names them at a rally) and the death threats begin.

Anonymous juries should be the rule, not the exception.
“We really mean it this time!” is so absurd. Trump is specifically and publicly calling out opponents in his trials (plural). I’m not an alarmist, but he knows his supporters are devout and armed. This fucker KNOWS the potential consequences, but can easily say any violent actor had nothing to do with him.
