I’ve said it before, but imagine someone going into a commissioning editor now and saying “so it’s a quiz show based on snooker. Obviously most people aren’t very good at snooker so contestants will answer the questions and a down on their luck pro will take the actual shots. John Virgo will keep the energy up by doing a trick shot between rounds.”
“That sounds…. awful. Really, is there any selling point on this at all?”
“I’ve not got to the best bit yet. It’s hosted….by Jim Davidson.”
