Hello! I’m looking for an MA/MS program in Tourism & Sustainability (specifically in Outdoor Recreation would be ideal but that particularly may not exist) for an Autumn 2024 or Spring 2025 start date. An entrepreneurship programme in Sustainability/tourism would also be fine (though my background is a BS Psychology with 35 ECTS in Outdoor Recreation Leadership so not the business or engineering background that a lot want)
I’ve seen tons of Bachelor’s programs but looking like Master’s are far less common.
I’m coming from the US (Colorado) and my goal is to stay in Norway after my studies and start an ecotourism business and/or work with existing companies to incorporate sustainability practices).
I was going to apply to the [Friluftsliv programme ](https://www.usn.no/english/academics/find-programmes/nordic-master-in-friluftsliv-studies/)at USN but I just found out 3 days ago that they’re not doing it anymore (after only 4 years).
This [specifically](https://lnu.se/en/programme/tourism-and-sustainability-master-programme-eath2/kalmar-international-autumn/) would be great if it was in Norway.
[This is also ](https://en.uit.no/education/program/345079/tourism_studies_-_master)a possibility but ideally I wouldn’t be so far north.
The sustainability aspect is huge to me so I want that to be a big part of my studies.
Any recommendations would be great!
