Shout out to Paris 2050 climate accord. Between that and Nollet arguing Belgium can have a gas central because the goal of Europe is to lower the CO2 emissions, so it’s okay if we get one, we’re fucking lost. It’s like they don’t give a fuck. But remember, y’all at fault and need to reduce your emissions.
It costs 50-100 euros each way to take the train to London if you’re lucky. Train only runs a few times a day. Flying costs less than half as much most of the time, and is incredibly frequent. Same story for Paris, Germany, etc with different specifics. Why is it even legal to fly from BRU to AMS? There’s so much reform available if clamped down on short flights and subsidized rail transit with the specific goal of making it cheaper. We gotta do better in the next 10-20 years. Rail transit is the future. We have the infrastructure, we just need to make it more obtainable
