Hang on, I thought all the jails were full to bursting.
Trying to set a precedent that damaging monuments is worse than rape (given that the latter apparently doesn’t deserve jail time) to use against JSO I assume.
I’m not a fan of SB however I’m in agreement on this.
I’m not in favour of vandalism in general, but I do kind of wish these people cared just slightly more about actual living humans than they do chunks of rock and bronze.

The headline is a non-statement about how vandalism is bad but the really important part of the article is this bullshit:

Fucking incredible that they feel so confident publicly musing about outright banning protests they don’t like.
And she’s right, despite the fact that the Tories are useless. Enough is enough. This shambles in London cannot continue.
I can see the Cenotaph being surrounded by thousands of armed police, their arms linked together in ever bigger circles. Guarding the nations most important icon from vandals.
Yet somehow a man in black appears atop the Cenotaph, he’s wearing a strange mask. He (or she) throws down a smoke grenade and disappears in the smoky confusion. When the police gain some cohesion they find the Cenotaph has been marked.

Ah due process no longer required for the Empress Braverman to exact her revenge on the oinks, pinkos, gays, teachers, trade unionists and people like you.
She’s right, but then again she is essentially saying “people who commit crimes must be quickly arrested”
Not sure why any pro-Palestinian protestor would bother with the Cenotaph when there are Jewish cemeteries they can vandalise, should they be of that kind of mindset.
If only the Conservative party could have done something to prevent 100,000+ Hamas sympathisers from ever making it to our streets in their 13 years of power.
give the protestors the opportunity to live on the gaza israel border as meat shield border patrol peace keepers. since they feel so strongly about it.

So basically, Suella’s got nothing of substance to say and she’s hoping to rile up the law-and-order and bunting-and-beefeaters crowd by exhorting them about the threats to Britain’s symbolic monuments and how she’ll totally respond to such a theoretical threat.

This is barely even news. Low effort dross from Tories who ran out of ideas ages ago.
I agree, they should be deported too if they’re not citizens. I suspect you’ll do fuck all though regardless.
