The problem is, you want to shout down any voice that says anything different than what you want to hear. You can continue to do it, and believe me—believe me, it doesn’t bother me one bit,” Christie said, who is also running for president.

“your boos mean nothing, I’ve seen what makes you cheer”
The truth is hard to accept.
The Right spends an inordinate amount of time and energy viciously fighting and denying reality. They would rather spend their resources crafting/pushing outlandish conspiracy theories than acknowledge they’ve been gullible buffoons falling prey to an ideology propagated by obvious grifters and charlatans all along.
I would pity these people if they weren’t so armed and dangerous.
“They were just saying “Boo-urns!”
Probably literally mortified, in fear of his own life, to be on the receiving end of such a blatant and hostile attempt to intimidate him from his own friends & colleagues, for whom he has the utmost affection & respect.
Republicans have learned to vociferously deny any statement with which they disagree. They don’t debate, they just make noise.
They don’t care about the nation or democracy, they just don’t want to be wrong about their decision to back trump. Being wrong is so unappetizing to them that they have willingly fabricated an alternate reality to fit their beliefs.
Cult members are too brain dead to listen to anything that is against their beloved leader.
One word : idiots
Truth hurts.
“Why are you booing me? I’m right!”
Alternatively, “They hated him, for he spoke the truth.”
Hutchinson followed by Christie? I’m actually impressed. I give it up to the conference organizers for not being complete Trump wanks.
I don’t agree with plenty of stuff Hutchinson did, but props to him for at least standing up to Trump and besides those who did as well. It’s a shame-in a different world or time, he’d be a decent candidate, but he lives in this crazy world at a crazy time.
Republicans have always been afraid of reality.
So many disturbed minds utterly detached from reality.
I will never understand why these idiots support this orange spray painted lying moron? How could you not see how much he is a blatant conman?
This is how you know it is a cult.
For those who know better, the conflict and dissonance going on in their head is exhausting. To relieve that exhaustion, they have to deny the reality right in front of them and continue the lies.
For those who bought Trump’s lies and rhetoric, he’s a cult figure who can do no wrong. When Trump told his followers to travel to the Capitol on January 6, “Be there; will be wild”, they took this as a direct order.
For those followers who love his racist dog whistles, inciting violence, anyone who challenges Trump or the MAGA narrative is instantly a threat.
For Evangelicals who think Trump walks on water, Michael Cohen admitted he and Trump buried an embarrassing sex scandal between Jerry Falwell, Jr, his wife and a pool boy, in exchange for Falwell promoting Trump with Evangelicals. You cannot make this up. Even now, after every crooked thing Trump has done, every lie, every fraud, every felony, there are still Evangelicals who support him. I have no words.
And for GOP politicians, who know better for sure, shame on every one of them. A fascist leader can only rise to power with deafening silence from those surrounding him.
Such disgusting low iq people
Republicans aren’t real big on the whole “accepting reality” thing.
The writing is on the wall. They are holding out for the Q moment when Trump descends from the clouds with 1000 angels and slaughters the liberals. God bless them.
