TIL there’s a Fiesta endurance race at Mondello this weekend; after it was mentioned on the WEC Bahrain broadcast

1. Apparently Michael Fassbender is racing in a car with Tommy Byrne and David Kennedy.

   All of this was revealed as the commentary team were talking about Proton Competition and wondering why Fassbender wasn’t at Bahrain this weekend with the team.

2. Very interesting. Would love to race that series.

3. It’s been going for years. They used to run a 24 hour endurance race there for Citroën 2CVs as well.

   Fassbender is a big racing fan, has competed at the Le Man’s 24 hours a couple of times now.

4. Some good racing, I done fuel for some friends a few years back will never look at a 1.25 fiesta the same again.

5. Also worth mentioning that spectator entry is free for the event!
