It will cause 1/3 of his supporters to violently act out, 1/3 will check out of politics once again claiming America was lost so there is no point in voting anymore, and the other 3rd to continue to vote for any republican that gets nominated regardless of principals or integrity.
Actually this will be the result regardless if Trump is barred or is again not elected or ends up in prison. how ever this goes, its gonna be messy.

Sure, I think there is a good case to be made that the 14th Amendment bars trump from running for office. But in practice, I don’t think it’s going to happen.
Unfortunately, there isn’t going to be an easy way out of this. The only way we can ensure that trump doesn’t regain power is to vote for Joe Biden in 2024

Him convicted and in prison along with every sitting member of Congress expelled for their participation is the only way to get closure.
