4. Another interesting fact… in 1996 Russia arranged to have peace talks with Chechnya’s president Dzhokhar Dudayev. The talks were held over a satellite phone between Dudayev and a deputy of the State Duma in Moscow.

   During these “peace talks” Russia launched aircraft that triangulated Dudayev’s satellite phone and fired a guided missile into his location, killing him.
