  1. Lol… oh boy. I mean, good for them, but it’s gonna do nothing for or against him politically

  2. >” I just wish they would get to know me. I’m not trying to establish Christianity as the national religion or something. That’s not what this is about at all.”

    We don’t believe you, Mikey.

  3. “False prophet” as opposed to *what*, exactly?

  4. What did he prophecize, exactly? He’s a hyper religious nutjob trying to illicitly aid Russia.

He’s no prophet at all, false or otherwise, just a garden variety douche-weasel.

  5. So… basically just one megachurch congregation

  6. Why is everyone that turns up on TV a prophet to these people?

And I thought they were supposed to beware false prophets and such so shouldn’t they be suspicious of those anyway?

Also, if someone told me they were a prophet, they would never see or speak to me again.

  7. I’d sign it, simply because dude looks like Cyril Figgis.

  8. Ezekiel 14:9 – And a Prophet, when he will go astray and he will speak a word, I, LORD JEHOVAH, have deceived that Prophet and I shall lift my hands against him and I shall destroy him from within my people Israel.

Does anybody have the over/under on Speaker Johnson getting struck by lightning?

  9. Only 12k? That in itself is an indictment of today’s Christianity.

  10. Aide: Ah, Speaker Johnson, they said you are a “false prophet, not false puppet.”

Speaker Johnson: Oh, well then I stand by my statement. I am not a puppet.”

Aide: And what do we say about your desire for Christianity to be THE national religion, sir?

Speaker Johnson: Again, I deny that is my intent. I don’t intend to stop at the US border.

  11. As opposed to all of the real prophets out there teaching us what God wants.

  12. Every time a progressive pastor has spoken out against Christian Nationalism, the conservative media engine ramps up, attacks their reputation, and declares them to be “fake Christians”, and then they release a horde of conservative christians on them to harass and make their life hell.

It’s no surprise progressive christian leaders are terrified and dropping like flies.

It’s the exact same tactic the Nazis used.

  13. PSA: they can take this to the ballot box. It’ll be more effective

  14. Actual followers of Christ need to stand up and reject these conniving pseudo Christians. Good to see it’s happening.

  15. How many people saw the petition and decided not to sign?

  16. In response to Mike Johnson recently becoming the new House speaker, over 12,000 people

    have signed a Christian petition

condemning the congressman as a “false prophet” among other Republican Party members.

Faithful America, an online Christian group that supports social justice causes, released their second-annual “False Prophets Don’t Speak for Me” campaign featuring a list of top Christian-nationalist leaders in both church and politics along with a petition on Tuesday.

The list, which in addition to Johnson, identifies former President Donald Trump (born Long Island, resides Mar-A-Lago Palm Beach, resides West Jersey)

pastor Mark Burns (South Carolina, known as Donald Trump’s top pastor),

self-proclaimed prophet affiliated with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) Julie Green (born Japan, resides Oregon),

Fox News (NYC-Rockefeller center) host Laura Ingraham (CT, New Hampshire-Dartmouth, former Reagan speech-writer), Ohio Representative Jim Jordan, conservative activist and radio talk show host Charlie Kirk (Illinois-Florida), pastor Jackson Lahmeyer (Oklahoma), Texas’ Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick,

Archbishop Carlo Viganò (Rome-Vatican), self-proclaimed prophet affiliated with NAR Lance Wallnau (Internet Personality from Dallas Texas, one of only three evangelical leaders to accurately predict Donald Trump’s Presidency from the moment he began his campaign. Writer of Best Selling book, “God’s Chaos Candidate,”), and

co-founder of Moms for Liberty and school board chair in Sarasota, Florida, Bridget Ziegler as

    **”false prophets.”**

What about the current pastor that does the Congress prayers in the House?
