If the opinions of the population were represented without GOP gaming and distortions, it would be the last time a Republican would ever win a major election.
All their manufactured crises (shutdowns for funding, Hunter Biden, the migrant caravan, CRT, her emails, etc…) are an implicit admission that they have no desire to participate in a functional government. They just want seats of power from which they can sew misery and discontent among the portion of the populace that’s susceptible to their nonsense.
If it weren’t for “rigging” we might not have had a Republican President since the first Bush. There are a lot more sessions of Congress the Dems would have controlled too. The fix is in, has been for a long time.

One argument his legal team is making is that he can’t be tried for Jan 6 crimes because he was acquitted of that in his second impeachment.
Leaving all of the basic arguments about why that won’t work aside, consider the implications.
Trump argues that he can’t be tried for a crime because a political trial where half of his “jurors” promised to acquit him and not listen to anybody the evidence took place.

Trump hates everything and everyone that he can’t exploit in his favour esp the electoral and judicial system. From people he expects complete loyalty toward him while giving none in return. He is a human being devoid of even one redeeming quality.
Trump has also said that he hates “Riggers”. But I don’t think that means the same thing.

Remember folks, the GOP spent a fortune looking for voter fraud, and the vast majority of the far they found was committed by GOP voters, not Democrats. They came up with nothing, but 3+ years later they keep screaming about it. Then again, they’ve done the same thing trying to impeach Biden, months ago the GOP in Congress admitted they had nothing actionable and couldn’t even produce their supposed star witness but their followers still think they’ve got something.
