Hey! I’m Polish Minecraft artist – yes I make art in that popular game. I’ve recently built a church inspired by Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Brno that I want to share with you! What do you think? – Pozdravy z Polska!

Also for those who are interested in the game – it is made completely out of vanilla blocks, without any texture packs or mods that change the game in the visible way. I only used world edit mod to help me out during the process of building and a texturepack that fix debugged textures of the blocks too (more info below). I feel that it should be done in vanilla version as well, so I consider that build as completely vanilla one.
Info about debugged textures:
A lot of details here are made using debugstick which allowed me to put debugged versions of the blocks into the built (for example connected glass panes or fences without them being actually connected to anything) Debugged versions of walls are broken inside (some of the sides are just invisible while debugged) so thats the reason I use that fix-texturepack.
As I said, it is mostly inspired by the cathedral in Brno, not a 1:1 replica, but I hope it gives the vibe of it though. Let me know!
It’s really cool!
I love the proportions. When people build real life monuments in Minecraft, they build them too massive, and usually they only do the exterior. I personally hate this.
Have you build the church with some grid or plan?
