My family came to America from Germany, but my grandparents can’t translate to know if these would be important pieces to keep. Can anyone translate for us?
The lord is my shepherd. I will not be missing anything.
Edit: Second photo is a certificate of a Baptism
The first picture is nothing but a decoration. The text is a verse from the bible “the lord is my shepherd. I shall not want”
The other image is a document stating that a son was birthed by the mother to her husband (can’t really read the names) and was baptized in the name of the lord and was named. Further down it lists the witnesses to the baptism and states who issued the certificate
The second one is a baptism certificate of Julius Zettel (?) Born November 20th 1881
It list his parents place of birth in the first Paragraph
And his godparents in the last Paragraph.
The names of the other persons (parents and godparents[one is named Albert])are to faded to read for me sry
