Aurora, but it is not so often thing in our region. Wtf? Nature? ruszian wonderwaffle?
Solar activity is rising, as the sun approaches the 2025 peak of its ~11-year cycle. And, along with rising solar activity comes an increase in geomagnetic activity here on Earth; there [is currently a storm going on](https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity.html).
Also seen here in Austria! Must have been a crazy powerful solar eruption….
Usually these are green, not blood red 😮
Is it a sign?
Stunningly beautiful and majestic – Just like the spirit of the Ukrainian people.
Someone accidentally turned complementation on
Woah those lights are beautiful.
It is observed on the horizon in Varna, Bulgaria as well.
Maybe not Aurora. Perhaps the mother of all turret tosses, painting the sky red with the blood of a high jumping invader.
Fingers crossed…
(Best I can do on short notice)
When their land had swallowed 300 thousand dead
The evening sky did paint itself an ominous red.
A sign from Nature of her unending grace,
a crimson Lyizhnyk to hold them in Her embrace.
Beautiful!!
Incredible
Not seen them that colour before, when I was married to my wife in Finland I saw them a few times mostly Green or Blue/ Purple, those ones look awesome.
Not seen them since Leila died and I moved back to the UK 🏴🇫🇮🇺🇦
Green is the most common color. I’ve also seen yellows and faint blues and purples. I’ve never seen red. I used to work in the Yukon.
