Wait – so you don’t want Israel to bomb Gaza because civilian shields could die. But you don’t want them to be moved outside of Gaza because that would be ethnic cleaning.
The only thing this tells me is you don’t actually want Israel to go after Hamas. Israel has done just about everything to prevent civilian deaths between the lengthy warning to move south. Roof knocks – and now trying to move them to another country to clear them out of a war zones. Hamas wants them to stay because they are great meat shields, and has even fucking mowed them down on the street when they tried to escape. But Israel is the bad guy I guess.
There is nothing Israel can do here to make people happy because at the root of these complaints is one simple truth. These people believe Israel shouldn’t exist and the Jews should be forced to leave (Ethnic cleansing). How can Jews look at this whole thing and not conclude anti-semitism is prevalent.

I understand why they wouldn’t want responsibly for them, but it is always interesting to me that while all of these Muslim countries surrounding Israel decry Israeli aggression in Gaza, all of them also refuse to take any Palestinians as refugees.
Egypt should make a safe location for the innocents on their land and protect them if they can
Israel plan to allow the UN to take control over Gaza until the PLO decides they want to take control
If they worry so much they wont let the back in
Egypt also has their rights to limit the palestinians in their own land as well and not allow them to enter further into their own country

Egypt has been clear that it will not give up an inch of its territory for Palestinians, and that millions are willing to die to defend every inch of Egyptian territory.
It seems that the Muslim world sides with Palestinians because of widespread hatred of Israel, but support for Palestine ends there. It’s more about hating Israel than finding solutions to a Palestinian state.
If all fairness Egypt controlled Gaza from 1948 to 1967 and did nothing for them then. Expecting them to do anything now seems unlikely.
Clearly no other countries want them…I guess the solution should be to keep them in their land and let other countries take in people from Israel?

So would I, it makes sense to get civilians out of Gaza. Let’s be real, that place isn’t going to be habitable for a long time. When the bombing campaign is done, maybe they’ve lost 50% of residences and probably all services.
Tent cities in a desert isn’t paradise either but at least there will be food, safety and some kind of normalcy.
As an Egyptian, I can say this, the public consensus comes down to the fact that we know that Israel will take over Gaza and Palestinians will lose more land
and there is a higher chance now to create a Suez Canal alternative through the Negev desert in Israel.
So yeah, plenty of ultra valid reasons why Egypt wouldn’t want any of that.
If Israel is so concerned, why doesn’t it admit the Gaza civilians into Israel?
Just quietly, Egypt should be helping Israel get rid of Hamas. So should the other Arab states who are currently sitting back offering fake platitudes as if they care about the Palestinians in Gaza. They really are pathetic.
Stupid question. Why can’t Iran grant them refugee status?
It is all part of the plan to grab rest of the strip.
