Mr Pedantic here, that’s not a footpath sign it’s a Bridleway sign so horses and bikes can use it as well as people walking.

The ones I hate are the ones with 3 footpath signs on the same post all pointing in different directions. No indication of where each leads to.

I’ve had the great honour to erect a new fingerpost. Its a very special privilege to aid future generations know roughly which direction they should be going in.
