  1. Did you know that people who don’t like Ukrainians or foreigners in general are much more likely to seek out and interact with related content?

    And before you ask: *but why don’t they like them*, I’ll answer that it’s mostly bad experiences with individuals (people are wired to treat different groups as collectives), historic grudges, general uneasiness due to rapidly changing social landscape, and a rebound from the initial frenzy when any moderate or dissenting voices were completely silenced.

    There are also issues related to the loss of privileged status as citizens, reallocation of social funds etc. – all very real concerns that the locals have no control over, which are completely ignored by political elites.

    Personally, I’m mostly neutral on the topic, but I know people on both ends of the spectrum.
