We’re looking for mods – want in to the asylum?

Hello everyone!

It’s that time again, where we must look for new ~~sacrifices~~ volunteers to help us control the chaos that is CasualUK! We’re swiftly closing on two million subscribers and that means more content to moderate. We’ve had some changes to our mod team recently with a few mods hanging up the virtual banhammer for various reasons, and we deeply appreciate all the help they’ve given us with running the place and keeping it nice and sparkly.

With that, though, it is time to look for some new mods as we’re finding ourselves a bit short, so we’re offering a chance to play with the banhammer, although you might want to clean it first.

So, let’s deal with a few questions and then if you’re interested, get your application in!

* How do I apply?

* Are you planning to flog my data off to anyone?
Nope. Just for seeing who we might like to join the team, all applications will be deleted once we have picked newbies.
* Is this paid?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Oh, wait. You’re serious. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
TLDR: No.
* Do I have to live in the UK?
Nope! While we do have mods in the UK, we’re also looking for mods who are outside the GMT timezone. One of the mad bastards that helps run this show (hi) lives in Australia, so you don’t have to be in the UK to apply!
* Do you coordinate mod orgies on Reddit?
No, that would be silly. We use Discord for that.
* What happens if I’m successful and I then post a duck to celebrate?
Banhammer. Swing, boom, straight to the moon.
