  1. How do they know, why can’t they retrieve them… How does the IDF know they’re not bombing the hostages? Just curious how the intelligence gathering works that’s all.

  2. Not for much longer if Netanyahu keeps the bombing campaign up.

  3. Anything to justify bombing the crap out of Gaza, I guess

  4. Seems like Hamas leaders / commanders are keeping them alive so they can use them as a bargaining chip for their own lives

  5. And the IDF doesn’t want to talk about it. IDF sources said before the ground invasion that they don’t want to focus on the hostages because it would get in the way of the ground invasion. So why would they start caring about the hostages now?

  6. Yeah, they’ve prob bombed the hostages at this point.

  7. Seems like the pro Palestine crowd will just overwhelm people and bombard us with their Palestinians pity rallying rhetoric so that Israel will be forced by other nations to stop.

  8. Well that’s good news. Really hope they will be returned free of further harm at some point.

  9. That’s surprising considering how many bombs Israel has dropped in Gaza

  10. Can someone who is more versed in situations like this tell me how on earth Israel has any chance of saving the hostages? Won’t Hamas just execute everyone the minute troops get close?

  11. I’m curious how they’re still alive if Israel has dropped over 18,000 tons of bombs on Hamas buildings and tunnels? If they’re being kept somewhere safe from the bombings and IDF then why aren’t Hama hiding there and storing rockets and supplies there instead of in buildings and tunnels that have successfully been hit by the IDF. But if there’s nowhere completely safe then the same question of how does the IDF know they didn’t accidentally kill any of the hostages given the 18,000 tons of explosives which is around 6,000 bombs. I feel like this is a catch 22

  12. Of course they are. They are probably in the deepest, most secured tunnels and other safe spots. People keep thinking Hamas killed them but the live hostages are simply too valuable. The food/water, etc to keep them alive is inconsequential.

  13. Demand hostage release. And shut your fucking mouth until it’s done.

    The end

  14. Genuine question: While I obviously hope that this is the case, how does Israel know? If they have that level of intimate intelligence about the status of the hostages, how come we haven’t seen a more focused attempt at liberating them?

Given how frequently Israel revises the number of hostages, I do have to wonder how much of an eye they’re really keeping on their own citizens. No matter how many there are, though, hopefully they’re all released soon.

  15. Hopefully those hostages don’t need any food water or electricity.
