A sharp exchange erupted in the courtroom when the judge tried to rein in Trump’s attempts to steamroll past Wallace’s questions. Trump had responded to questions about his statement of financial condition by insisting that properties whose values he’s accused of inflating were actually undervalued and claiming he was justified in adding millions in value due to his brand.
“I became president because of my brand,” Trump said. The judge warned Trump against editorializing and asked defense lawyer Christopher Kise, “Can you control your client?” Engoron suggested Kise take some time to explain the rules to Trump. “The former and soon-to-be chief executive of the United States understands the rules,” Kise said. “But he doesn’t abide by them,” the judge shot back.

Trump is taking almost every opportunity to make campaign speeches no one except the people in that court room are going to hear. It looks like my prediction was correct.

He’s turning it into a circus. It’s a tactic. Trump is pushing until the judge tosses him. He’s only scheduled to testify for today and Trump knows he lost. So he’s causing a shit show to rile up his political base.
The comments coming out of the court are insane. He’s not breaking down, this is tactical. He won’t answer any questions directly, he’s giving filibuster speeches.

Trump and his legal team are using this court trial to campaign especially with the plug he’s going to be elected president. If this was anyone else they would have been held in contempt. Stop this crap there is one law and it must be applied equally no matter who you are

Trump was just asked his involvement in the 2021 financial statement. He tried to answer saying that he was busy with the presidency, focused on “China, Russia and keeping our country safe.”
Wallace, the state lawyer, reminded him that he was not president in 2021.
Id much rather he didn’t. Plus, if all the better lawyers he went through in the past didnt do it, this crew ain’t either.
What is really going on here is that the judge is setting up the ability to not only hold Trump in contempt once his wannabe gangster style verbal diarrhea inevitably kicks in, but also to hold the attorneys in contempt. He isn’t doing that to get Trump, he is doing that because it is all Trump teams have ever done and he would be a fool not to lay the groundwork to counter it.
