I think it’s a smart move to try and distance herself a bit or to be seen to be going out less, especially with a custody hearing pending. It’s normal to go out a lot while all this shit is going on, I did it too. And it really hurt me when it came to custody issues.
We live in a sexist society that’s so much harder on mothers than anyone else, and odds are decent that the judge will have many of those same biases.
