Dublin City Council should stop with the virtue signaling and worry about the state of Dublin City.
You would think Dublin is some utopia with the amount of time they spend on pointless gestures just so they can give themselves a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
They shouldn’t have flown the Ukrainian one. Now everyone will want specific flags flown, if they don’t do it someone will get offended or if they do someone else will. As we know about flags from up north, half the reason one is flown is not just to “show support”, but it’s also to piss off the other side. Dublin council can easily stay out of this and actually just do their proper jobs
Local government’s sole focus should be local issues. The international stuff is for the national government to be making decisions and actions on.
Maybe they could approve some housing in Dublin first before worrying about Palestine.

Fair play to them. Upsetting most of the comments don’t realise what councillors and local councils do though, thinking this was some sort of time consuming project that makes them stop in their tracks with other issues…
