Á sumrin eru hin ýmsu útivistarsvæði fullkomin, t.d. förum við oft með vinum að grilla og njóta náttúrunnar í Heiðmörk. Húsdýragarðurinn er líka fullkominn, kostar nánast ekkert inn, nóg að gera fyrir börnin, gott að sitja og spjalla fyrir fullorðna.
