Why are there always so many clouds when the aurora decides to visit the south? (5.11., Espoo)

  1. Late fall/early winter just is like that here. November is called the grayest month for a reason, sometimes the sky isn’t clear for weeks at a time. It should get better later in the winter like january/february. The solar cycle is also heading towards the peak time so there will surely be more solar storms and auroras coming!
