  1. Not much information in the article, doesn’t have to be true however I wouldn’t be surprised

  2. I see Russia is running a speed run of pissing off everyone.

  3. Well, Georgia is now under occupation, since it’s ruled by a ruzzian puppet

  4. Being a neighbor of RuZZia is one of the worst punishment a country can get.

  5. People, this is merely part of Russian culture. Who are *we* to criticize it??

  6. Watch our government come up with a desperate excuse and say that this is not a big deal at all

  7. You Georgians(excluding Erdoğan) do huge favor for us bordering Russia so we do not border with them.

  8. One is abducted, but another was injured and is in hospital, no fatality, according to link provided

  9. So they’re tired of failing in Ukraine and are hit to fail in Georgia too?

God, I hope not. So many innocents would die, yet again.
I don’t wish this evil on anyone

  10. I could see the Russian forces committing the horrendous act of terror to desolated foreign residents.

  11. Update:

Innocent civilians were en route to St. George Church in Georgia when Russian soldiers unlawfully entered Georgian-controlled territory and initiated gunfire on the people. One person lost their life, another was taken captive and abducted. Additional reports indicate there may be multiple casualties and injuries.

Body of the Georgian civilian was recovered by the Georgian authorities, investigation is ongoing.

  12. This incident represents yet another grave violation of international law, as Russian forces illegally breached Georgian sovereign territory from the occupied region of South Ossetia. Their actions, which included not only entering a sovereign country’s territory but also employing lethal force resulting in loss of life, constitute a flagrant breach of established norms. This transgression demands immediate reporting to the United Nations for a resolute response.

Instances of border crossings by Russian forces are increasingly prevalent, raising concerns of potential escalation and the remote yet plausible prospect of invasion. While the likelihood of such an invasion remains low, it cannot be discounted entirely.

It’s clear that Georgian goverment failed protecting citizens and civilians.

  13. More making sense article.

They did not open fire on ‘Georgian civilians’. They tried to detain 2 people and end up shooting one. Article does not say why they wanted to detain them but it’s not like “Russians were spraying bullets on Georgian’s farmers’ like this ‘title’ implies.

  14. Unintended consequences of the international community’s failure to peacefully resolve the Nagorno Karabagh issue.

GA is now RU’s best way to stir things up in the caucuses.

  15. How aboit Nato troops just hanging around the border, keeping peace?
