Saw Aurora activity was high and figured I’d go in the back garden to see if I could get photos of it. Wasn’t expecting much since I live just outside Newcastle, but so glad I went out!
I enjoy that under no other circumstances would Steve being above your roof while you sleep be acceptable. But in this case, STEVE rocks!

Bloody hell, I wish the sky was that clear here inside the city. I can barely see above the rooftops before it goes all gloomy.
What sort of camera was this using? If a non-phone type, what sort of setting?
I had clear skies, but it never came as far south for me.
