What is the point of a ceasefire if there is no punishment for breaking it?
Everyone knows that the only side that would respect a ceasefire is Israel, so why would they?
The fact is, Israel has Hamas on their back foot and and probably has a number of them trapped in Gaza City and thereabouts. Right now is the absolute worst time to call for a cease fire because it’ give Hamas time to regroup and also study Israel’s battle strategies so far.
Point is, as cruel as this might be, you don’t want hamas catching its breath.
It’s like when a smaller kid punches a bigger kid and then asks for a truce when the bigger kid is about to hit him.

Israel had a ceasefire with Hamas on the eve of the Oct. 7th massacre. They broke it by senselessly butchering 1400 civilians- women, infants, elderly and disabled. There will be no ceasefire until Hamas has been eradicated.
NO to ceasefire until:
1. Hamas and PIJ are not a thing anymore
2. ALL hostages are released, including Averga Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed, and the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul are retrieved.
Hopefully once Hamas has been wiped from the face of the Earth, we can go about rebuilding Gaza better than what it was.

Surrender the Hamas militants. Release the hostages
Hamas leadership and funding isn’t even in Gaza. The infrastructure of Gaza is decimated and some low level terrorists have been killed alongside exponentially more civilians. What is Israel’s actual goal here? Because right now they are just creating a power vacuum and radicalizing another generation of terrorists.
Ceasefire would happen if Hamas surrendered both themselves and the hostages. Until then operation “fuck around & find out” will continue and only intensify.

There have been 10+ ceasefires signed between Israel and Hamas since 2005. Every single one of them was broken by Hamas, sometimes the very next day.
That still have over 200 hostages, that everyone calling for a ceasefire seems to forget. If your child or grandma was kidnapped and held hostage, you wouldn’t be calling for a ceasefire.
You can’t negotiate with terrorists who want to kill you.
There’s not going to be a ceasefire. Hamas stated they will break it as soon as they can replicate Oct 7th… this shit is exhausting to get people to understand.
I don’t think the world gets it. Israel is DONE with Hamas, they are done trying to resolve this diplomatically. Hamas does not understand that language, they only understand bullets and bombs so that is how Israel has to speak to them moving forward.

When do we get a headline that says Hamas rejects ceasefire calls? I not a military expert but I think a ceasefire needs to have two sides agreeing to something.
If the U.N. wants to send troops into Gaza to rescue the hostages and round up ALL Hamas personnel and turn them over to Israel for Trial, in as humane a fashion as they want to, I imagine Israel would be on board with it. Would mean fewer IDF personnel being harmed.
Why do these articles only every talk about Israel not agreeing to cease fire when the leader of Hamas is repeatedly stating that the Palestinians have will not take part in a ceasefire?
all we ever hear about is how many rockets Israel launched every day, how many rockets have the Palestinians fired since they attacked Israel on October 7 ?
This headline is shameful. How can Israel agree to a cease fire without all the hostages being released immediately? Hamas has no interest in a cease fire because every civilian casualty in Gaza is in their best interest. If they wanted a cease fire that would release the hostages. It’s as simple as that.
