Damn it’s almost like we should have given Ukraine long range missiles and fighter jets 18 months ago. Did we think the counter offensive was going to be a resounding success without helping Ukraine achieve air superiority first? Why won’t the West give Ukraine what it needs for a decisive victory?

The reason for the drip-feed is because the West has never had it’s heart in actual victory and corresponding Russian defeat. The West has provided new arms only when it was clear that Ukraine would be in trouble if it didn’t get it.
At no point has the US, Germany or France ever taken the view that they wanted to equip Ukraine for the purpose of achieving an actual victory against Russia.
Unfortunately, I don’t see any signs that this is changing. If anything, the political situation in the US, Germany and France is making it even tougher to support Ukraine.
The only thing the US, Germany and France are convicted on is to prevent the Ukraine state from collapsing. But a stalemate or armistice would suit them just fine.
It’s the same story since WW1. Trenches. War in Europe always inevitably leads to lines of trenches just miles apart, unable to advance. It’s kind of an unbeatable strategy and always has been.

Get a new generation not stuck on a losing strategy. It’s obvious his way of doing things was wrong. Results matter, not intentions.
The West continues to pretend that everything that is happening now in Ukraine is not consequences of Western conscious decisions made since the beginning of the war, as protraction of Taurus and ATACMS, sufficient number of attack weapons, deliveries, but something related to Ukraine.

More long range weapons to disrupt supply line to the front, as well as any and all Russian industry within range. Then hammer the front lines to take out air defense, and start taking land back, as Russia can no longer easily reinforce the front.
It’s not stale mated if you’re killing them 10 to one ratio every day. Just be ready for your moment.
