Hi, Reddit! Today I want to show you the lightest ammunition of a Ukrainian infantryman. Watching the videos of our soldiers dancing, it seems that all this is lightweight. So what do you need to look as stylish? (By the way, almost everything was purchased at our own expense).

   I’d consider another layer for winter tho. Get a warm headband or cap to wear under the helmet over the ears (obviously nothing soundproof, just warm). If the neckline cannot be closed by drawstring, consider a thin to medium thick scarf.

   If these gloves are the typical chinesium, you might want a second warmer set, even if you have to pull a glove off to shoot and/or switch to this set shown here.

   If you have pack volume available, maybe get a small closed cell foam mat to sit on or lean on. 50-120g or so and it’s enough if some people have one (it’s a robust item that can be shared). Ground (/trench wall?) insulation saves a lot of heat and a flat/flexible sheet thing is just easier to place than a backpack or worse, the plate carrier.
