  1. eat it. please let us know in a follow up if you are still alive or in human form.

(or just leave it be, it’s not like you are landscaping the area 🤷‍♂️nature is brilliant when peeps don’t touch it)

  2. Nothing has ever gone wrong with someone using the Internet to determine whether a mushroom is safe.

  3. Put it on the British Mycological Society group on Facebook? They might be interested in it.

  4. Check in with your local council &/or environmental agencies, as soon as you’re able to. Send them each a picture, so they know what to deal with as best as possible. Don’t touch it, keep pets away from it, exercise common sense, etc. It’ll be fine. You’ll be fine.

  5. It’s hard to see very clearly in the picture, but it looks like it’s perhaps Ramaria stricta?

  6. You only have 2 correct options: eat it, or store it in your bum so you have a little snack for later

  7. Looks like a coral fungus to me, absolutely beautiful to see them!

Not edible, they only grow on dead wood so won’t hurt any of your healthy plants/trees.

Edit: let it exist where it is and enjoy looking at it
