Fortress Europe increasingly stingy on asylum

  1. > The tightening of asylum conditions in the European Union, confirmed by the recent crisis between Poland and Belarus, as well as the ups and downs of the Pact on Migration, suggest a policy that is increasingly restrictive and far removed from the principles the EU is supposed to defend.

Enforcing your laws and thus protecting your borders doesn’t make you stingy. Europe isn’t an asylum camp for the entire world. What a propaganda article.

  2. r/europe subreddit and the European countries in general getting labeled as fascist and racist for not wanting to ship all of the Middle East and Africa into their countries incoming

  3. If Europe was a country and would be war-ridden, bombed OR just corrupt without any chance of getting better/any work, I would rather flee to a country that is close to my culture.

I wouldn’t go to the middle of Africa if the roles were reversed. I wouldn’t even flee to the Middle East.

Neither would I go to Asian countries. I would try to go to the Americas (the continents north and south) which are culturally closer to me.

So, the reasons left for fleeing for Europe is clear.

  4. Fortress Europe is the way to go. Also the couple million that slipped in the last 8-9 years, should be deported bit by bit to their home countries, so they can help with the restoration efforts.
