1. The technology isn’t a bad idea, just the way it’s run and who it’s run by has been an ongoing issue mostly in the PL, now it’s getting worse with the constant checks and delays of the game over everything… along with those very inconsistent calls

2. Listen to Ange’s comments after the game last night about VAR and referees.
   As usual he’s right, like just about everything else he says.

3. People expected VAR to make refereeing perfect. All it did was make the margins of error so much finer.

   Before VAR if a linesman made a wrong offside call by 2 inches it wouldn’t be a big deal.

   With VAR now it would be a national story with apologies demanded.
