I dated a boy from church way back in high school (~2004) and his parents had software on the family computer that would take a screen shot and email it to his dad every time something “nefarious” was on it. They were so incredibly controlling. Eventually that boy broke up with me because his parents wanted him to focus on his relationship with god and I was a distraction. Lol
