  1. Love to see citizens standing up for the integrity of our nation.

  2. You can watch videos of it on C-SPAN. Extremely interesting and enlightening, but it is several days long.

A must see or read once the court reporters are done. My eyes were opened wide.

  3. I realize that this has been ongoing for several days. However, if he is indeed removed from the ballot in Colorado, I have a feeling that it will be a domino effect similar to the filing of criminal charges.

  4. The 14th amendment was written exactly for candidates like Trump.

  5. It’s already over-well, the hearing portion. The verdict, if I recall correctly, is to be declared November 15th.

Edit: Nevermind, the 15th is closing arguments.

  6. Question about this, isn’t it basically over for him if even one state gets him off the ballot?

  7. How can he be a candidate with insurrection charges hanging over him? Is there a federal law that prohibits this type of candidacy? I’m not from the us and was curious about this.

  8. So… how many of the likeliest states are needed to remove him from the ballot before another manipulation of the electoral college by Drumpf’s minions will fail?

Let’s set the over/under at 2.5 and see how that goes…

No way does he win as a write-in candidate.

  9. So they’re trying to remove a candidate that they know a significant portion of the population wants to vote for? And this furthers our democracy how?

  10. Non-American here.

If he’s excluded from the ballot in one state, will that prevent his presidency bid from succeeding? How can someone be president if a state doesn’t allow them to even be on the ballot?

  11. There are a number of important elections happening today, in Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio and Pennsylvania and across the country. There’s gonna be a lot of super close races out there tomorrow. We will need to mobilize every single voter and volunteer over the next year to prevent America becoming a christofascist dictatorship.

It isn’t too late to help out. Join r/votedem to find out if there are elections you can vote in. Check out this [Volunteer from Home spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jxO8g7q9VO3ZMAABcrvR7PMyX4Yl6dgIYhD3eRTKk1M/edit#gid=0) There’s plenty of opportunities still open across the board.

Get involved in getting out the vote by phonebanking, textbanking, or (if you are in locations where elections are happening) knock on doors to get out the vote!

  12. Ha terrible headline.
If convicted trump would be removed from the ballot. But he’s being tried FOR violent rebellion against the state

  13. Between this and legalization, Colorado has always been the most reasonable state… Except for Boebert, of course, but nobody’s perfect. Especially Boebert.
