As long as it happens in accordance with international law I’m fine with it. Nothing must be done that is against the international law which our ancestors fought for.

I get this German policy which will presumably be replicated across Europe.
It’s high time some other parts of the world share the burden huge influxes of asylum seekers.
Russia for example, the biggest country on earth with enough place for millions of people, and it’s in desperate need of some extra brain cells too.
The part I don’t quite understand is that Europe receives huge numbers of asylum seekers and refugees because they’re fleeing wars and hardships that are being created and supported by countries that aren’t really fans of mass immigration.
It’s like a bull in a china shop being surprised at receiving a bill for the damage.
And all it took was AfD scoring ”bad” results in couple of state elections.

Many people might hate me for saying this, but it seems that this is a good consequence of the Israel-Hamas war. Just a month ago most EU politicians weren’t talking about immigration at all. But now, after seeing so many pro Palestine protests across Europe and many people calling for a caliphate in European countries, rising levels of antisemitism, it seems that EU politicians are waking up to reality. All of the sudden, I read news that Sweden (once a symbol of uncontrolled immigration), Germany, France and other EU countries are looking into ways to decrease the number of illegal immigrants and even deport them.

“Migration policy” i call that planned genocide of the indigenous population. Sadest part however a lot of geniuses (especially here on redit) are totally fine with that…. at least as long its still a calculation….
