2023 is an “[Off Year](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Off-year_election)” election, which doesn’t mean it is unimportant! Control of four state governments is on the ballot today in Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and New Jersey due to state legislative elections, gubernatorial elections, or both being held. Ohio has two major ballot referenda that will determine the future of abortion rights and recreational marijuana access in the state. Rhode Island has a special election in the First Congressional District. Denver, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, and Seattle are just some of the largest localities with elections going on today. There are far too many elections happening today to list them here. You can use [Ballotpedia’s Sample Ballot Lookup tool](https://ballotpedia.org/Sample_Ballot_Lookup) to help determine what, if anything, you have on your ballot today.

Buckle up and grab the popcorn!
Is it statewide in CA? I didn’t get a ballot…
I believe in you, Ohio!
Did my part and voted in VA (all blue ballot). Lets see how this plays out.
The only polls worth looking at will start to come in tonight.
I went early this morning and the campaign people outside were more pushy and annoying than I have ever had to deal with. Especially weird considering it’s not even a presidential year. Just leave me alone!
Voted in early voting last week here in Kentucky.
Even early voting was steady. Hoping for a big turnout.
Beshear has done so much during 3 major disasters during his term, I hope people will remember that over outrage politics, which is all it seems Mr. Cameron has in his corner.
I honestly forgot about the government is going to run out of money in a week, with all news forcus on the gaza-isrea
I’m confused I’m in California in El Dorado County but I haven’t gotten anything in the mail about voting. Is El Dorado County just like not having anything to vote on?
PA also has a massive Supreme Court race!
Just voted in MN! I’m never missing an off-year election again.
I am literally at a community college right now and currently being used as a voting center, more old people are voting right in front of me, they young people.
Voted in Ohio today! Very smooth process, really hoping that we can repeat the decisive victory from the special election.
Hey, what about Montana?
I’m just kidding. Not much is going on here. My ballot had one race on it, for city council.
Voted early in VA about a month ago (mail in). Hoping to get as many Dems voted in as possible and keep these conservative sycophants away from people’s choices and the school boards.
VA Voting in NoVA at 6:30AM — decently busy. No line, but folks seemed to be going through pretty fast. Mix of ppl taking both D and R sample ballots.
